Mediation Highland will shortly be opening a Child Contact Centre in Wick.
A Child Contact Centre is a safe, friendly and neutral place where children of separated families can spend time with the parent they no longer live with.
Volunteers work with the Duty Organiser and other volunteers at our centre in Wick to provide a welcoming atmosphere. They help to set up the centre with a wide range of appropriate play equipment and support parents and children, putting them at ease during their time with us.
Volunteers who are able to offer 4 ½ hours once a month on a Saturday are now being sought.
No experience is required, just a genuine interest in families and a caring, impartial and non-judgemental attitude. Full training will be provided. Excellent opportunity to do something really rewarding, meet new people, develop skills, increase career progression opportunities, and young people can also work towards achieving Saltire Awards.
Travel expenses of up to £12.00 per session available to cover transport costs
Volunteers will be required to undertake a PVG Disclosure Scotland Check
We are holding a Volunteer Information Session from
5.30pm to 7.30pm on Friday 25th November 2016 at the
